Stephanie McGregor, Executive Consultant and Australian Energy Lead, TSA Advisory

Stephanie has over 25 years of international experience developing and delivering infrastructure and energy transition projects (worth $14billion+).  Having worked on over 3000km of clean energy transmission infrastructure across the UK, the European Union, New Zealand and Australia, she has an intimate understanding & insights on the energy transition journey.

As a Director with UK Energy Regulator OfGEM, she co-created and delivered the internationally pioneering UK Offshore Wind Transmission Competition Regime – which attracted twice the investment needed during GFC, supported 3.7 GW of offshore wind capacity connect, has been proven to have saved consumer millions and still operates successfully 15 years later.  She then became the national General Manager for ABB’s UK HVDC Grid Systems business, serving on the global leadership team for ABB’s worldwide HVDC Grid Systems operations.

Returning to Australia Stephanie took on leadership of the Western Renewables Link a year after it was awarded to AusNet and recently joined project management firm TSA as their Australian Energy Lead, providing advice on energy transition project delivery and regulatory reform.

Qualified in town planning, applied science, sustainability and business, Stephanie has been an active mentor in the sector through Women In Infrastructure and the Industry Mentoring Network in Stem and a sponsor of activities in social welfare arenas of menstrual poverty and supported housing.
