Brendon Kirby, IT Portfolio Manager, Powerlink Queensland

Brendon Kirby is an IT portfolio manager at Powerlink Queensland, the company that operates Queensland’s transmission network, delivering power to more than 5 million customer and 250,000 businesses. With an extensive background in consulting and large project delivery, Brendon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and he has worked across a range of industries, including banking, healthcare, and energy and utilities in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. He has spent the last three years leading Powerlink’s cybersecurity program, which aims to improve Powerlink’s security capability and readiness across both IT and OT.
